Gather Together
To The Israelites • 15m
I was recently in Houston at this soul food restaurant and I saw a sign that said "Gather Together." Immediately I thought about all of the scriptures which details how the Israelites will be gathered in the last Days from all the Nations which we were scattered too:
"When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be sanctified through them in the sight of the many nations." Ezekiel 39:27
"Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer." Ezekiel 39:28
“Gather those together that are scattered from us, deliver them that serve among the heathen, look upon them that are despised and abhorred, and let the heathen know that thou art our God. Punish them that oppress us, and with pride do us wrong. Plant thy people again in thy holy place, as Moses hath spoken.” 2 Maccabees 1:27-29
These scriptures and so many, many more, played over and over in my head and God told me to tell his people for the Bible Study this week, that if you have the ability to "Gather Today:"
“And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24)
