Please do not believe for one second that I don’t have the upmost reverence and honor to our ancestors. However, I have observed a trend of videos lately of Black People stating in their videos and posts that “We Are Not Our Ancestors.” My understanding of it is that they are stating that if a War breaks out, that the outcome that landed our ancestors in chains will not occur to us. Bible prophecy agrees with this statement:

'“The days are coming,” declares the Lord , “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt,” . Jeremiah 31:31-32

God said what is to come is not going to be how it was with our ancestors. This time it is going to be different, the scripture goes on to explain how our ancestors disobeyed Gods Laws and how God is going to ensure by implanting his laws in minds that we do not make the same mistake. This alone will make us different from our ancestors, this alone will make the outcome for us different than theirs. All glory be to God.

“'And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies. ' Numbers 10:9
