Polygamy in the Bible. This is a subject that I see Pastors run away from, Preachers are afraid to even mention these scriptures in the Bible. Nonetheless, how can any of us claim to love God, but skip over parts of his word or are afraid to adhere to the scriptures that we do not agree with?
'If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights. If he does not provide her with these three things, she is to go free, without any payment of money. ' Exodus 21:10-11
I didn't write it, it's not my laws, it's not MY COMMANDMENTS, and they are not My Statutes, but they are the Lords, they are Yah's and I personally believe and have so much faith in God that I know for a fact, that everything he says and does is for our best, even when we believe otherwise.
If he takes another wife. Signifying that he can take another wife. There has never been a Black Civilization in history and in modern day ever recorded where the Black Man was required to have one wife. Most of the male animals if not all Male animals are not monogamous.
“As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. ” Ecclesiastes 3:18-19
Over and over again we see in the scriptures noble Men, God fearing Men, Men we would consider as pillars of our faith with multiple wives. Abdon, Abijah, Ahab, Ahasuerus, Ashur, Belshazzar, Abraham, Israel, David, Solomon, Moses, Lamech, Rehoboam, Gideon, Elkanah the father of the prophet Samuel, Ben-hadad, Caleb, Eliphaz, Esau, Ezra and the list goes on and on. Polygamy "Unfortunately for many folks ears" is more Biblical than monogamy and I honestly believe the statement that the truth shall set you free.
I made this video because I see so many single women today in America, it is ridiculous, so many women turning to homosexuality and many of them citing what they believe to be infidelity's on the part of their husbands or male partners as the reason. My question I would ask those women is, What is infidelity to God? Did God permit you to divorce your husband because he takes another partner, wife? Or are you defining your own standards and morality only following Gods laws when you agree with them?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts" Isaiah 55:8-9
Let's separate the wheat from the chaff, those willing to adhere to Gods word and follow his knowledge, his ideals and principles, especially when his word contradicts our own understanding, life experiences and upbringing.
